Trident is a liquid strengthening additive that strengthens the pores in concrete. Trident allows you to achieve 100% recipe strength within 7 days and up to 170% recipe strength within 28 days.
Trident is recommended to be dosed between 500-1000ml per Cubic Meter and 400-800ml per Cubic Yard. We recommend conducting internal testing to find the best dosage for your environment and mix design.
The additive is non-corrosive and based on water. The active ingredients have been locked in preventing any adverse interaction. No special equipment or PPE is required to handle the additive.
The additive is a black liquid that is added at the end of concrete making. We recommend adding the additive after all the constituents are mixed together (Cement, Sand, Gravel, Water, Plasticizer). After you dose the additive into the concrete, mix the concrete for 3 to 5 minutes to ensure proper dispersion.
No. The additive does not change the color of concrete. The additive is a nano dispersion so the particles are too small to affect the concrete color or see.
The additive increases concrete's adhesion to rebar making the steel concrete bond stronger. The additive also reduces chloride penetration leading to reduced corrosion.
We do not recommend the additive for pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete. The additive was specifically designed for Ready-Mix Concretes that have high slumps
